SASTRA University is situated in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. The University is a deemed university. It is affiliated by UGC(University grants commission) and registered under sections an Act of the parliament. The University was linked with Shanmugha College of Engineering and technology, Tamilnadu but later  it was converted into full-fledged university having other courses as well. The university has been providing numerous UG/PG courses of different stream Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Bio Technology etc. 

Sastra University Time Table 2017

Sastra University is responsible for providing affiliation to the colleges for several courses. The university conducts exam annually as well as semester wise depending on the courses. But before any exam the university releases the Time-Table of the exam. Sastra university exam Time Table/Schedule 2017 for Nov-Dec exam winter session will be release in the month of Oct. or Nov.  For Summer session and Anniual exam which will be taken by the university in the month of March-April 2017, the University will release the Time Table in the month of February 2017. SASTRA University timetable 2017 will be updated Online through the main portal of the University at "sastra.edu". SASTRA University exam datesheet 2015-16 can be downloaded by following the given easy steps:

1. First, The students will open the official website of the university "sastra.edu".
2. And will search in the "Announcement or latest News" section or "examination" section from the webpage.
3. After finding the suitable link one will click on that. The downloading link will be available to "Download the Time Table"
4. One must take the Print copy of time table and prepare accordingly before going to the exam.

Time Table tells the exact date and give confirmation to the candidates for exam. The schedule of exam like its date, time subjectwise mentioned on Time Table. Students can start revision of their subject after finding the Time Table. No doubt that the students starts revision of the subjects in full swing  after getting the Time Table. 

The University provides several courses of Technological Science like Biotechnology,Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunication, Bio Informatics, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with Under Graduate and Post Graduate both type of courses. It is predicted on behalf of previous year exam schedule that the Time Table/Date sheet 2017 will be released before 20-30 days of the exam.
